Order a repeat prescription

Repeat prescriptions can be requested:

  1. Online, using the NHS App (see below) or via Patient Access
  2. By requesting the medication from your regular pharmacy, who can submit the request to us
  3. By submitting a written request in person – you can leave a written note or a ticked copy of your prescription repeat form (the right hand side of your prescription) in the prescription box in reception.

• Please note that we do not accept telephone requests for prescriptions due to the risk of errors – the only exception to this is for some of our housebound patients – please discuss this with reception if you think this option may be needed for yourself.

• Repeat prescription requests can take two working days to be processed. Please allow for this when requesting. Unless specified otherwise, the prescription will be sent electronically to your nominated pharmacy. You can change your nominated pharmacy via the NHS App or by calling/speaking with reception.

• Please only order what you need – excessive ordering can be wasteful and lead to shortages for everyone. See our page on Reducing Medicines Waste for more information.
